A Little Bit About Us
Elizabeths The Florists have been the number one name for flowers in Norwich for over 70 years. Supplying and growing flowers to Norfolk since 1948.
The company originally founded by Elizabeth herself in 1948, is still run by the same family today. Myself, Kevin Plumstead - 3rd generation running the business along side wife Lesley, son Luke and daughter Hollie. From our shop on Unthank Road, Norwich we supply flowers for funerals, weddings, gifting and corporate events. Along side our landscaping team designing and building gardens across the county. During the summer months we stock our home grown dahlias, cornflowers, nerines, delphiniums and solidago.
From meeting Lesley when she started as a junior florist here at the age of 16, fast forward 40 years of early mornings, long days in the shop, late nights working in the nursery, from snow to heatwaves and a very big bunch of fantastic customers. We now employ over 20 members of staff including our office team, senior florists, juniors, conditioners, landscapers, drivers and accounts team.
Meet The Team
Kevin and Lesley Plumstead
Kevin is the proprietor, Head honcho, Chief cook and bottle washer.
Lesley is the florist Manager. She organises the workroom and the daily running of the shop. Favourite flower - Daffodil.
Luke Plumstead
Luke manages the landscaping, garden design and build part of the business.
Enjoys the hands on approach and is a massive Norwich City FC fan and regularly in the Gym. Dad to Isabella.
Hollie Plumstead
Hollie manages all things weddings, a senior florist and keeps everything running smoothly. Mummy to little Ralph and Penelope.
Favourite flower - Peony.
Our Growing Fields
Our family have been growing our own flowers since 1950's.
Kevin loves being in the fields planting and growing when he's not in the shop or out on site landscaping.
During the summer we have cornflowers, dahlias, nerines, delphinium and solidaster.
In the winter we have our own home grown Christmas trees, holly, spruce, conifer and eucalyptus.
